The Program of empowering Samurdhi beneficiaries in 2018
There are three Samurdhi bank associations in Tissamaharama division. In here , families of Samurdhi beneficiaries are about 5616. In them, 482 families are going to empowering in this year.
According to that allocation for Tissamaharama is Rs. 1,817,400.00 . In that allocation under Samurdhi living development program , 9 families have been selected for providing goods under agricultural sector and 29 families under industrial sector. Total expenditure is Rs.1,234,800.00 for that.
In addition to that 4 families are selected to give 4 motor cycles. It’s cost is Rs. 196,000.00 . Also 440 gardens has been selected for income generation under garden development program. It’s cost is 330,000.00 . Also under garden development programe, 15 gardens have been planned to develop. It’s cost is Rs.17800.00 .
Also one entrepreneur association training program and one younger entrepreneur development program have been planned to do and it’s cost is 38,800.00 . According to that Total expenditure is Rs.1,783,763.00 .
